Golfer Kenneth Loeb takes a closer look at three of North America’s most celebrated golf courses.

From Cypress Point in California to New Jersey’s Pine Valley and Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia, North America is famed for being home to some of the most exquisite golf courses anywhere in the world. A successful realty firm chairman and keen golfer, Kenneth Loeb delves into a trio of top-rated courses from his home in the east of southern Ontario.

Kenneth Loeb starts with Cypress Point, California. “Playing at California’s famous Cypress Point is a dream for many golfers,” says the realty firm executive chairman, speaking from his home in Ottawa. Cypress Point is set among the foothills of the rugged Santa Lucia mountain range in coastal central California.

A private, members-only golf club, Cypress Point is celebrated for its series of dramatic holes, often regarded, according to Kenneth Loeb, as some of the very best in golf, not just in North America, but globally, too.

Next, Kenneth Loeb moves on to Cabot Cliffs in Inverness, Nova Scotia. “A relative newcomer, established around a decade ago, Cabot Cliffs overlooks the stunning Gulf of Saint Lawrence,” Loeb explains.

Its fairways, he goes on to reveal, transition between meadow, wetland, and woodland areas. “It’s for this and a wealth of other reasons,” adds realty firm chairman and keen golfer Loeb, “that Cabot Cliffs is now deemed to be among the very best golf courses in North America.”

Kenneth Loeb’s third and final pick is New Jersey’s Pine Valley. The dream of a famous hotelier from Philadelphia, Pine Valley is widely considered, Loeb reports, to be a shining example of so-called penal golf course design.

“Work started on Pine Valley more than a century ago, back in 1912,” reveals Loeb, “and its rich history is just one of many things to note about this remarkable and now world-renowned course, routinely considered to be among the most challenging on the planet.”

Kenneth Loeb has, he says, been fortunate enough to engage in various distinct and exciting endeavors during his professional career, building confidence, strength, and expertise throughout. Outside of his work in operations management, litigation, and commercial real estate holdings, and beyond his love of golf, realty firm executive chairman Kenneth Loeb is also passionate about travel, skiing, and wine.

Loeb has previously showcased a number of the world’s top ski destinations such as Murren in Switzerland and Val d’Isere, France, and has discussed top-rated wines including Château Léoville Barton St. Julien, Mayacamas Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder, and San Giusto a Rentennano Chianti Classico.

Realty firm chairman and keen golfer Kenneth Loeb is based in Ottawa, Canada’s capital, located in the east of southern Ontario, not far from the city of Montréal. He currently devotes the majority of his time to commercial real estate holdings both in Canada and the United States.
